The Lute Society's recent Lutezine 126 contains about 27 pictures of historic lute players, of whom about 0 are playing with a strap. Should I simply throw away my new 'Capirola' lute strap, which arrived in the post this week? It's very pretty, but if no-one ever used them........ Peter
