Not counting any suites, which are made up of separate pieces, the longest single piece that I know is a ricercar in the Siena lute book. The score (over 400 bars) is available at [1]http://www.gerbode.net/sources/NL-DHgm_gemeentemuseum_den_hage/MS_28 .B.39_siena_lute_book_1590/pdf/ N0. 131 I should add however that the Siena ricercar seems to be a composite, made up of various sections from already existing pieces that were more or less 'glued together'. Some time ago, I identified two: one source for the ricercar is Fantasia Prima from Adriaenssen 1584, another one is a fantasia that is found in two sources only: Marsh and Thistlethwaite. Both quotations are very lengthy (dozens of bars) and exact. I am at the moment trying to identify other pieces that were used for the Siena ricercar.
