you can also use the 6to4 method which uses a generic encapsulation method and routes to the nearest 6to4 router via ipv4 anycast. Pipenetworks and a few other AU ISPs run these gateways.

Latency, reliability and setup is much better than userspace driven tunnels. It will give a static subnet if your v4 address is also static. However there is no mechanism for ip6.in-addr.arpa delegation.
