Also had experience with usb3 external hard drives not allowing machine to 
boot if they were plugged in to usb2 ports.
I tell most people who come into the shop with a printer to repair to go buy a 
new one as they are so cheap, but of the odd 1 or 2 that I have accepted, some 
of those dont work in usb3 ports either.
