I used this patch about 2 years ago, and I thought that it would
be already merged. I use Debian GNU/Linux (etch) and I I didn't
want to compile the Kernel (lazy me).
I'd like to know if you have tried to merge this patch with
the main Linux tree.
Compiling kernel now....
