I followed the article at http://kb.linuxvirtualserver.org/wiki/Net-SNMP-LVS-Module/
I cannot seem to figure where I am going wrong. I've tried this on CentOS, Debian, and Gentoo, all with the same result. Following the instructions, the problem I noticed was that *snmptranslate -m LVS-MIB -On -IR lvsServiceEntry* did not return the expected value of * .1.3.6.1.4.1.8225.4711.18.1*. Instead, I get *.1.3.6.1.4.1.8225.4711.17.1*Now, looking at loadbalancer.org's site on SNMP, they state that they value I get is the expected one. But, I believe there's is based off of a 2.4 kernel (I could be mistaken). The issue that is most troublesome is when I execute *snmpwalk -c public -v 2c -m LVS-MIB localhost 1.3.6.1.4.1.8225.4711* I get the following error: *LVS-MIB::lvs = No Such Object available on this agent at this OID*. Has anyone else run into this and how can it be resolved? I've been googling for days trying to resolve it but have not turned up any answers. _______________________________________________ Please read the documentation before posting - it's available at: http://www.linuxvirtualserver.org/ LinuxVirtualServer.org mailing list - [email protected] Send requests to [email protected] or go to http://lists.graemef.net/mailman/listinfo/lvs-users
