wonderful. thanks. The code doesn't have an owner and about 
once a year someone makes an enquiry like yours. Thank 
goodness a few people have kept the code on their disks.

thanks for figuring it out. Even simple fixes require you to 
first find the problem.

Amazingly the patch survived posting to the mailing list.

There's two versions of the patch there. I've downloaded
