Especially after using it for over a year now, it would be great if you would 
help by contributing (to the wiki, at least, as it's rather easy to contribute 
there)! lwIP is run by people in their free time.

Now that's totally untrue. I think that a documentation which should help 
"beginners" to use the stack is better written by a combination of people who 
just began using the stack and some more advanced. Letting people deeply 
involved write the doc bears the high risk of it being not understandable by 
beginners.
