I think the code looks sensible because it's part of httpserver_raw/httpd.c from contrib. That would mean the current server doesn't allow for data to be read from files in multiple part. While this works for me, the problem is probably a lack of documentation (or examples). I'll see what I can do to provide a 'howto' for that server. Sorry for the mess...
