Regarding the traffic direction, the email archive here http://old.nabble.com/Retransmission-behaviour--td34077302.html#a3408978 6 includes the statement "So ur suggestion is right response and the restransmission is LWIP, Request goes to the LWIP.", yet the same email on the lwip-users list omits that sentence. So I still think Fred's ecos timer must be configured wrong for lwIP to be retransmitting so quickly. Should he look there first?
