I have remembered that on WIN7 broadcast is not working.

If you cannot broadcast and cannot use IGMP you have a problem. This sounds a 
bit strange as far as I know all streaming 
app's use multicast so this is a bit strange.

I wish you were right but it doesn´t help.

I defined WLAN subnet mask to 255.255.0.0 but no packages arrive. Setting the 
ethernet subnet mask to 255.255.0.0 doesn´t work of course because WLAN and ETH 
have to be seperated.

I tested sending to remote ip 192.168.255.255 and 192.168.10.255.

I am using android tablets as receivers. Can they detect "broadcast"?
