While it may stop transfer because of memory constraints with these settings (which is why it's not recommended), these settings are NOT the reason to get corrupt data. Such a bug usually has its source in your port, driver or application handling things in a wo ng way. For example, when reusing buffers too early, you won't notice a bug when there are no retries and everything is received in order.
