Hi We had a problem after upgrading to 1.1.4-0ubuntu1~ubuntu14.04.1~ppa1 amd64 from a working 1.1.3
We have Ubuntu 14.04.3 LTS with Linux 3.13.0-52-generic #86-Ubuntu SMP We found we could not start a newly created lxc container. We stopped a running container and then could not start that either. lxc-start 1444385989.581 ERROR lxc_cgfs - cgfs.c:lxc_cgroupfs_create:841 - Could not find writable mo unt point for cgroup hierarchy 11 while trying to create cgroup. lxc-start 1444385989.581 ERROR lxc_start - start.c:lxc_spawn:940 - failed creating cgroups lxc-start 1444385989.609 ERROR lxc_start - start.c:__lxc_start:1172 - failed to spawn ‘xxxxx-1’ We are using debian wheezy as the container distribution THE FIX apt-get install cgroup-bin All ok now. Not sure if this is a missing dependency or otherwise in the new LXC 1.1.4? Hope this helps someone.
