Hi all developers and potential developers,
For the future development of LXDE, I'd like to ask for your opinions.
Previously I get used to svn and I'm reluctant to use git.
After told by some other developers the advantages of git, I tried it
with pcmanfm2 and find it very helpful.
The performance of git is very impressive with larger source trees,
especially when compared with svn.
Merging and branching are also easier with it. So I'd like to suggest
that we switch to git for future development.
For translators, current pootle-based translation can be integrated
with git, so direct access to repo is not needed. Besides, we can also
have Transifex. So it's won't be a problem for translators.
So, is the switch to git applicable, or it's not necessary?
Please leave your comment and the reasons.

Thank you very much!
