What did I tell you about people disputing over graphic design.

I have achieved what I wanted to achieve, which is being able to log out 
reliably under Compiz, which I actually run all the time now for testing 
(although philosophically I think it is too heavy for LXDE), get the code 
cleaned up some, get the old GDM socket code ripped out, and get ConsoleKit and 
the prototype for the UPower backend in there so we are in a position to cope 
with a system that no longer has HAL.

I am old and have seen many things.  I do not particularly care what the final 
graphic design turns out to be, although I like the way it is now and as far as 
I know I left it the way I found it.  I disclaim any further ownership of that 
part and invite PCMan and Andrea to reach a decision.

A whole branch for this is probably overkill.  I might have just checked it in 
after asking on the list to see if anyone minded.
