A forum post reminded me that, like the forum poster, the Thermal plugin 
reports NA on my system.  I looked into this today.

I know everyone is used to me saying we don't need to use the library for 
something, we can do it manually.  In this case, the far better design choice 
is to use libsensors.  The reason is that it knows how to find all the sensors 
on the system, and more importantly, it has accumulated knowledge in the 
/etc/sensors3.conf file about how to interpret the sensor readings and do the 
units conversion to the displayable value.

I'm going to start prototyping this, but I thought the list should know in the 
event anyone has a comment.
