Dear all,

Ferdinand from the Sidux community is organizing a minidebconf during
the Linuxtag in Berlin in June. We have talked to each other to
co-organize an event focusing on LXDE. As some contributors will be
there anyways, there would not much of an organization be involved.
Klaus Knopper said, he would be interested to attend. Christoph
Wickert will be there. Julien Lavergne also said he could come
probably and others. I know most of the local team of Ferdinand. They
are very helpful. I think it would be a great to cooperate with
Ferdinands group and feature LXDE during the biggest Open Source event
in Europe.

What do you think? Any ideas or suggestions?

Organization: As the local team would be taking care a lot of setting
up the event itself, we dont need to worry about this. We can focus on
putting together a schedule of talks and workshops and promoting the
event.

Concerning travel funds: At this time we don't have travel funds, but
I think we could arrange free accommodation in Berlin. Any suggestions
to apply for funds for LXDE people are welcome. We could also start a
request for donations on the website.
