CrunchBang Linux 10 "Statler" - Alpha 2, based on Debian, has been released,
in Openbox and XFCE versions:
http://crunchbanglinux.org/wiki/release-notes/10-alpha-02

It's getting very positive feedback, things like "more stable than most
final releases".

Perhaps someone wants to try the Openbox version and add LXDE. I'll be doing
this in a small way, adding the new PCManFM, LXTask and other things that
interest me. But perhaps there's a Linux developer who could adapt it to
make an easy, stable Debian-based distro with LXDE.

(Andrew: it sounds like it's compatible in some ways with the aims of
EasyLXDE. The setup is supposed to be easy.)

I'll report again when I've had a chance to try the LiveCD and (if the
LiveCD works well) install it.
