Hi All,

I'm a long time Fedora user and as a Linux sys admin very comfortable with
RHEL. I installed F17 LXDE today on my Asus EEE PC netbook and was
surprised to find that ACPI was not installed by default. Now this wasn't a
problem for myself and I am obviously aware that Fedora's emphasis is
bleeding edge, not rookie Linux n00bs. However, this is a very small
package and it seems curious that a spin designed for low end hardware,
which obviously includes netbooks, would select not to have this vital
software as part of the standard install.

So just a lodging a friendly suggestion for F18 and future spins that this
package be added to the default install.

Long live the beefy miracle!

Dom
