Hello everyone!
I've just pushed big chunk of update into 'menu-cache' GIT. It is a
promised long time ago rewrite of menu-cache-gen. Instead of that crazy
Red Hat // GNOME code I've based it on XML parser of libfm-extra. Yes,
now it requires that small child of LibFM. In fact, this was the primary
reason to split XML parser out of the libfm.so in the first place. :)
Well, old code took:
7770 2013-09-07 19:18 canonicalize.c
1231 2012-09-16 03:15 canonicalize.h
21866 2012-11-13 15:30 desktop-entries.c
4271 2012-09-16 03:15 desktop-entries.h
28223 2012-11-13 15:30 entry-directories.c
3446 2012-09-16 03:15 entry-directories.h
119222 2012-11-13 15:30 gmenu-tree.c
6216 2012-11-13 15:30 gmenu-tree.h
13873 2014-08-29 16:38 menu-cache-gen.c
148 2012-11-13 15:30 menu-cache-gen.h
4773 2012-11-09 12:10 menu-cache-gen-old.c
62688 2012-09-16 03:15 menu-layout.c
6440 2012-09-16 03:15 menu-layout.h
10655 2013-06-24 15:52 menu-monitor.c
1838 2012-09-16 03:15 menu-monitor.h
12332 2012-09-16 03:15 menu-util.c
1487 2012-09-16 03:15 menu-util.h
New code takes:
5063 2014-08-31 20:10 main.c
38655 2014-08-31 20:10 menu-compose.c
67763 2014-08-31 20:10 menu-merge.c
5544 2014-08-31 20:10 menu-tags.h
As you can see it's much more compact and therefore simpler to fix or
improve. :) I would like everyone to use it and test it. At least I'm
using it now on my machine and I found out some translations are more
complete with new code and some missed applications were found. I want
all your testing before I can release the thing as 0.7.0 version of the
package. Thank you in advance.
With best regards,
Andriy.
