I mean NESTED_TABLES off via ~ shortcut. And for that you need lynx
compiled with --enable-nested_tables
Code is different if it is compiled in and without it. And I do not know why.
Probably IZ and TD know more about this.
very short summary: IZ was only interested in color-style configuration,
and as I commented, some of the logic to support the nested tables is
dependent on the color-style. (Rewriting nested tables is getting far
away from my own interests...)
