Hi Jude-and-All: Jude, first of all, I am not familliar with "pipe-viewer"? 
I've tried straw-viewer-and-I use youtube-viewer several times a day. What does 
pipe-viewer off that youtube-viewer isn't giving you? In relation to the 
original question, there were at 1 time some accessibile web-sites where you 
could search or work with youtube videos. There was a site which didn't last 
long, something like invidia. Anyway, unless something with faster downloads 
comes along, I am fairly happy with youtube-viewer. Thanks in advance
