[Lynx-dev] Can Lynx externally filter plain text file?s

Apolgies if this is the wrong place to ask this, but I was wondering
if there's a mechanism for filtering plain text files before they are 
displayed by Lynx's internal pager. Somewhat like Neomutt's display_filter command.
