I apologize if this is another one of those dumb things I sometimes do.
I really am trying hard here ...

Anyways. lynx compile options page indicates lynx has been compiled with
persistent cookies. Lynx.cfg page indicates lynx has persistent_cookies
set to true. Lynx was compiled from a freshly downloaded source tar file
and fresh configure run.

When I say
lynx -trace http://mail.yahoo.com/
today, then I log into mail.yahoo.com and quit, I see:

LYStoreCookies: save cookies to ~/.parms/lynx_cookies on exit

as the last line of ouput.

Yet, I see this:

$ ls -l ~/.parms/lynx_cookies
-rw-------   1 lwv26    dept26       8062 Dec 17 08:27 /home/lwv26/.parms/lynx_cookies
$ date
Sun Dec 19 05:51:41 EST 1999

As you can see, lynx hasn't updated my cookie file for two days.

This is SPARC Solaris 2.6, compiled with Sun's compiler. I can email
the two option pages mentioned above if someone would like to see them.
