ah - I hadn't noticed that CYGWIN is lumped in with the "pc" stuff, and
had simply tried the configure script (after all, it works for ncurses).
The next time I reboot to NT, I'll try that one.  (There were a number
of compile-errors, which I don't recall since I deleted the build-tree).

reading the makefile.all, it appears that the file used is sl232tty.c
