I have rolled a new patch that fixes the incompatibility with OpenSSL and
SSLeay versions before 0.9.5.  Once again, things should be
backwards-compatible with OpenSSL and SSLeay versions going back many years,
although I would still recommend upgrading to the current version of OpenSSL
(now 0.9.5a).  Nobody should really be using SSLeay anymore.
