When I upgraded from lynx 2.8.2-2 to 2.8.3-42 (on Red Hat Linux),
I lost the ability to use the -dump option in a cron job,
as I was getting the error:
Your terminal lacks the ability to clear the screen or position the cursor.
The solution was to revert back to 2.8.2-2
It seems this is a bug - preventing use of lynx in this way.
