tho' i now have Netscape & Opera available on my Linux machine,
i still find Lynx way ahead for everyday news reading.
one aspect which deserves special mention is VH's `pretty source'
-- whose purpose i queried when he added it (wry grin) -- ,
which allows easy viewing of photos in news stories & the comix via Yahoo:
\ /jpg (sometimes /gif ) Enter & (usually) you're there!
this is one way of fighting the JS invasion.
