If you have "an issue" with Lynx's rendering of tables, maybe you should
check out these other text-based browsers (note they are inherently slower
than lynx, but still FAR faster than GUI browsers)

w3m only included for completeness..  I tried out both when I first heard
about them, but I don't use it anymore.  For text-based browsing, I use
lynx for many sites, or links if I know I need to use tables or some other
"nice looking" feature rather than speed.
