I seem to be having a problem removing entries from my bookmark file.
I open the file in Lynx, and using "r" to remove the highlighted
link, I get the message that Lynx cannot rename the temp file, and
that the deletion failed.
I ran a trace, and the operative line seems to be:
rename(): Permission denied
Alert!: Error renaming temporary file.
Alert!: Bookmark deletion failed.
I have seen the 'permission denied' message at times when using the
mv command in makefiles. I can use it without problem from the
command line. Any thoughts?
I am using 2.8.4 rel.1 on OS/2.
