I just read that that new M$ OS that's coming out soon
will NOT have a "dos window".
But they will have *something* that will
run *recent* (dos?) programs, although I don't
remember what that is.
(this was from an article in last thursday's
Wall Street Journal, in their every-thursday
technology section.)
However, you probably will *not* be able to run
an *old* dos program. Meaning, he said, that
for the first time, M$ is coming out with an
os that people will not be able to run a
lot of dos programs they have been used to.
That's all I can remember from the article,
and who knows what my memory is like these days!
