I'm giving up. 10 minutes and still "Receiving FTP

OK, I think the problem is FTP_PASSIVE:TRUE . It worked with
FALSE.
With LFTP it connected in seconds and seems to use passive
mode:
lftp> ls
---> PASV
<--- 227 Entering Passive Mode (212,123,225,149,8,83).
---- Connecting data socket to (212.123.225.149) port 2131
---> LIST
<--- 125 Data connection already open; Transfer starting.

Strange because all other FTP sites work with both browsers.
