Here's something which no longer works as well as it used to in lynx. I have this option in my print menu, which appends to a local file on my shell: PRINTER:Append to a local file:/bin/echo -n "Append to filename\: "; read fn; csh -c "cat %s >> $fn":TRUE
When I use this option and write out a file name, if I backspace to correct a mistake, I get caret H characters. Using delete works no better. I don't know when this behavior began, but it didn't happen with 2.8.2rel2. I know that this occurs with 2.8.5dev7 all the way to the current development version. Is there any way I can get the backspace key to work properly again when using this configuration option? Otherwise, if no mistakes need correcting, this option still works fine.
