Inadvertently starting up a 2nd (3rd, 4th) lynx is sure easy to do -- I just now realized that I had two of them running, and didn't mean to.
Well, what's *wrong* with having more than one lynx process -- when one has NOT intended to? Just off the top of my head: (1) During each's run, he adds a bookmark. (probably ok -- doesn't lynx immediately write out a new lynx_bookmarks.html, right then?) But won't the other lynx *never* see it? And thus it *is* dangerous, because when he adds another bookmark from *that* lynx, it wipes out the one that the first one added, when it "immediately" writes out *its* version (vision?) of lynx_bookmarks.html? (2) His history and V pages will be different -- important if he backslashes one (both?) to html and saves it, to reflect where he's been, so he can go back to those places tomorrow. And there's probably some more. Comments? David ; To UNSUBSCRIBE: Send "unsubscribe lynx-dev" to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
