it's very good to see you back & contributing to making Lynx more efficient.

however, there's one thing most Lynx users would find really useful:
other browsers, eg Opera & Galeon, keep history & search strings
between sessions, whereas Lynx simply discards everything.
would it not be easy to store such items in a (set of)  .lynxxxx  file(s),
to be reloaded at the next session, subject to some user control
thro'  lynx.cfg  or options (eg number/expiry/reset of history entries)?

if you're enjoying doing some programming, this wb a definite improvement.
