I know this is a problem but not that easyly corrected so this will
probably not be solved for the 1.0.x version. You could however do
something like this.

| minipage 0 (20%) | minipage 1 (30%) - minipage 2 (30%) | minipage 4 (20%)|

and then your minipage 1 and minipage 2 are centered :)
