For any useful bug report I'd need sources with the relevant OS/2
patches, so that I can use gdb ....

All I can say now, opening some panel or sub panel, then cutting and
pasting (non ASCII characters) to LyX main window gives me 'clipboard
wrong owner' reports and strange random crashes, often without
emergency save.

As it seems, often also the X server gets confused, so that I need to
kill it.
