Well, Shigeru put a reference to

         "XFree/2-mailing-list"<[EMAIL PROTECTED]>

as first place into his README.BIN to ask very OS-specific questions.
We are usually both listening there, so that mailing to our personal
account wouldn't change much. But as a last resort, why not?

WRT the rest:
You have the necessary 'objective distance', just read the OS/2-info
and put exactly that info, that *you*, in the position of an interested
but a bit clueless visitor, would expect to find.
(For me it is not so easy; perspective changes rapidly once getting
more involved: But I would mention, that LyX on XFree/2 with a grain of
salt is 'UNIX on the OS/2-desktop', like picking a WIN or DOS or VIO
fullscreen; OS/2 once was designed as the OS's OS and does not enforce
much: People put on top of the small modular kernel whatever they like.
Hence the best source of info are generic X11 and LyX sources.)

If something is unclear, please ask. You are free to do whatever you
consider useful with stuff written by me.

Thankx for your patience with such esoteric fringe thingies,

cheers

        Arnd
