Bo, don't forget the setup.hint file. BTW, I think that you should upload
the files to ftp://ftp.lyx.devel.org/incoming. However, I am currently
not able to access this site.
According to the instructions:
Submission rules:
* Include a complete setup.hint file as part of your
proposal. Include this file in the text of your message so that it can
be commented on. Do not submit it as an attachment.
I posted a version of it last time.
* If the new package is a well-known program already
included in a major Linux distribution (e.g. Debian, Fedora, SuSE)
please include the URL of the package page.
* If the package is not included in any major Linux distro
it must receive five positive votes from other package mantainers in
order to be accepted.
Has lyx been included in any major distribution? Please give me a few links.
4. Place the package files in a web accessible http/ftp site
somewhere. If at all possible the files should have a directory
structure in order to get them all with a single command. For example,
if I am proposing "foo" and "libfoo", an upload site should look like:
