Hi there! I've no time for a bug report at the moment, so i write to the list...
I just recognized that my lyx crashes when i turn on preview, open a file that contains previewed elements (like e.g. the manuals) and close the file immediately after opening it. when i wait some time (i think the preview rendering has finished then) i can close the file without a problem.
