I doubt it. Anyway, I am trying to start a discussion on this matter on that thread. Let's see how it evolves and what the cygwin developers think. But I think that it makes sense to apply it as a local patch if you specifically build lyx for that platform, otherwise it may be seen as a lyx bug, as you can see. -- Enrico
