Right. I understand that capturing toolbar events and auto toolbars is a bit difficult. Also we are not yet sure what to do with the auto stuff.
Then why not add something very simple that solves the main problem with toolbars? When a frontend is closed, get the state of the toolbars, write it somewhere and restore this state on startup. That should be simple and acceptable for 1.4.
By the way, if we do the same thing with the window size and position that would also solve another major usability problem.
In 1.5 the toolbars can be a part of the session management data, for 1.4 it can be kept simple and without any other session management things for now.
Is this an acceptable solution? Joost
