I'm not objecting to gtk being moved into a branch. However, I would
like to point out that the fact that it required constant compile fixes
with respect to changes in the core means that there never was a clean
core/gui separation.
That's right and that's what I've tried to clean up. I'd hope that you
would come in earlier to help though. If you clearly state that you will
maintain gtk I personally think it should come back to trunk.
