This is weird... As the behaviour is correct for normal text.

I don't see that.
- when selecting with the mouse the cursor lags behind
the selection (and therefore also outside the selection
when making the selection smaller)
This should be easy to solve. Just need to toggle the cursor at the end
of the selection event.
