So I discovered when I finished the build. My apologies for not testing first. This makes things significantly better: it's still somewhat annoying though. As a plan of action: 1. Leave this disabled until the session stuff can remember where I put things (I don't see much point of it otherwise). 2. Enable it when it can 3. Disable it again when the Toolbars dialog is done: only show the grippies when the dialog is active, like Firefox etc. do What do you think? regards john
