No, there seem to be other problems, but this is a prerequisite. For example, if I want to spell check the word "händler" in german it correctly suggests "Händler". Then I replace it, and the next word it checks is "ändler". And the highlighting of the checked words in the workarea does not work at all, and I see also the famous "first check does not work".
