I think this is a necessary improvement for Mac so, Jose, do you

think I have tested it enough already but I will understand if

that needs a lot of testing so the sooner users can test it, the

While the patch looks like a necessary cleanup, I am not sure it makes
a big difference for the cases that are plaguing the mac (says the man
who did not test the patch).
Well, it does impact what the Mac user would feel. Waiting a second or
two on each mouse click is not funny I guess.
Abdel, besides the "do it right" aspect
of the patch, do you feel it has a big real-life impact? One such impact
could be in speed in selection with mouse, for example.
Not yet, no, not on selection unfortunately, but I plan to work on this
also afterward. And as you said, this patch is a necessary cleanup for
further optimisation.
