Attached. I've deleted all entries in the FORMATS section except for that to xfig, since something extra is needed to start up X11. However, I'm not sure that I'm doing it correctly. open-x11 is supposed to start up X11.app, which is the GUI for the X server, and previously open-x11 would work on its own. Now (at least on my Intel Mac) open-x11 does nothing unless you give it a program to run. That program can't be xfig, since then DISPLAY isn't set and so it won't open the file from LyX. So I have it set to open X (which then fails, since X11.app has already opened X), after which it can set DISPLAY and so open xfig. Is that the right thing to do?
