Perhaps Tomasz Łuczak knows for sure? (See http://www.lyx.org/about/blanket- permission.php.) Also, from what I remember of playing with generate_contributions.py either Python or iconv/recode can take LaTeX and generate UTF-8. Or maybe I have that backwards and it will translate UTF-8 to LaTeX. Maybe that helps you. Angus
