Compiled easily once qt4 dev files were installed (Ubuntu).
Seems very nice on first glance and I did not see any bugs after a fairly decent workout. The new qt4 look is great as are the new tables.
The sidebar for pdf/ps/dvi viewing is a good idea. The responsiveness is definitely higher than 1.4.4 on my system. Congratulations and thank you for your hard work! Richard Kleeman
